Test Port connectivity with Telnet

The "right way" to use telnet client !!??
Run CMD as Local Admin
type
telnet <IP address or hostname or fqdn> <port>

shortcuts in telnet
To disconnect from remote server,  type:
close servername port
c server001 8080
